English: Using our communication skills to retell our story

In Year 1 this week we have been planning our own story.

We are reading 'Man on the Moon' and decided to create our own story, but this time, with our very own alien as the main character! 

But before we started writing, we retold our story to our partner using our special sentence starter prompts. 

We are working so hard in Year 1 to be excellent communicators and we all did such a wonderful job retelling our stories.
