In science year 3 have been learning about different types of rocks. We have been 'geologists' and have been sorting rocks into different groups. We have also investigated the amount of calcium carbonate in the rocks by doing the 'acid test' and observing how the rocks reacted. We were amazed with the results, chalk and limestone started to fizz! In RE, year 3 have been learning about different festivals. This week they have been learning about Holy Week and how Christians celebrate Easter. The children enjoyed making the Easter baskets! |
