Year 4 have been working hard learning to play the recorder this term. We performed ‘Ready Steady G’ on our recorders.
We also sang the ‘12 days of Christmas’ for the Christmas show. Year 3, 4 and 6 took part in a workshop all about invertebrates. We found out why invertebrates are important to the environment and the food chain. We also found out why some invertebrates are endangered or have become extinct.
We then made ‘seed balls’ which can be planted to help improve the environment. The workshop ended with a quiz about everything we had learnt. We were lucky enough to be part of the Steve McQueen Year 3 exhibition at the Tate Britain.
Our picture was taken when we were in Year 3. There were hundreds of other year 3 class photos so we were very excited when we found ours! We have been exploring push and pull factors for different regions in Brazil. We looked at different rural and urban areas in Brazil and had to decide which factors may be pushing or pulling people to/from an area.
