​Year 3 children have been studying the life cycle of flowering plants. In small groups children dissected a tulip and created a poster. The children labelled the main parts and their functions. Children then presented their posters to the rest of the class. 

​In science this half term Year 3 are studying plants. During this lesson children were given the opportunity to take a closer look at the roots of plants using magnifying glasses. Children were able to analyse the root hairs and draw a diagram of their observations.
