Spitalfields City Farm

Y5 were visiting Spitalfields City Farm to learn about about plants, which is part of our science topic of life cycles. We learnt about the different types of plants, how they reproduce and grow. In addition to flowering plants, we saw runner plants, tubers and plants with bulbs. We created our own recycled plant pots and planted some spinach to take home with us. As no farm visit would be complete without seeing the lovely animals, we also had a chance to see the resident sheep, goats, pigs and donkeys
