Year 3 Science - Investigating Water Transportation in Plants

As part of their topic on 'Water', the children have been learning about how water is absorbed by the roots and transported by the stem within plants.  The children carried out two experiments (the celery and the tissue role experiments) where they were able to observe changes and draw conclusions about how water climbs up the stem to the rest of the plant.
