Year 3 have started a new unit in Computing 'Using Technology Safely'. They have been researching and finding out about the different ways you can communicate online i.e. email, messaging, blogs and video calls. They then presented their findings on a big poster. Shadow Puppet Play Year 3 have been learning about how shadows are formed. They have been investigating the type of materials which make the darkest shadows. The children created shadow puppets out of different materials and created their own puppet play using a screen and torch (light). Through various experiments and the shadow puppet play the children learnt that opaque objects create the darkest shadows because they block out a lot of the light. |
