In their new Unit, Myself and My Relationships- My Emotions, Year 3 have been learning to recognise and communicate a range of emotions. Through both role play and circle time games, they have been learning that quite often their behaviors are linked to their feelings. The children are learning that sometimes our emotions can affect our interactions with others. The children are really enjoying this unit of work and they are becoming more confident in talking about their feelings and worries. In science, year 3 have been learning about light and dark. They have been identifying sources of light in their environment as well as investigating the properties of materials which reflect light. At the beginning of term, Year 3 looked at their School Rules and Values during circletime. They produced posters which highlighted the school's rules and values and created a display near our reflection table. The children agreed that they would try their best to follow these rules. |
