​Year 2 have begun their exciting art project for this half term by researching the historic artist 'Giuseppe Arcimboldo' who became famous for creating portraits out of food and other interesting things. 

The children watched two short videos to find out some facts about him before studying some of his famous pieces of work. They then annotated their favourite painting in their sketchbooks. We will be creating our own Arcimboldo-style food portraits soon - watch this space!
