Over the past few weeks Year 2 have been learning about the Christian celebration of Easter and the Jewish celebration of Passover. 

We have read stories and watched short animations that explain the stories behind these two important festivals.

Today the children started to create their own Sedar meal plates. Sedar plates are used during Passover meal celebrations in Jewish homes. The plates contain different types of food that remind Jewish people about the different parts from the Passover story. Please ask your children to retell the story to you.
