Year 2 began their new 'Islands' art project today. We looked at some famous works by the American artist Edward Hopper and then tried to complete one half of his lighthouse painting using sketch pencils, oil pastels and chalk. 

We tried really hard to make sure the lines in the centre linked up and to select and create the correct colours.

Over the next few weeks we will be working in groups to plan and create a lighthouse collage.
