Deloitte Impact Day

On Friday 24th May, Year 4 had a very exciting Maths and Sports day.  They were visited by Deloitte, a financial company who led a very exciting workshop.  Throughout the course of the day the team introduced various maths calculations via sporting activities.  The children took part in various activities including football and basketball.  The children learnt about how maths is used in sport i.e. looking at scores and calculating averages, looking at angles when shooting a ball into a net.

Year 4 had a fantastic (but tiring) day!
