We have been learning about making healthy choice for snacks, children have made a video on how to make a fruit salad. This half term our topic is 'Healthy me'. We have been reading 'Handa's surprise'. The children have enjoyed reading and acting out the story. We read the story ‘The Colour of Us’. In this story the main character ‘Lena’ finds beautiful ways to describe skin tones. The children in Early Years painted self-portraits and have chosen words that best describe their skin tone. |
