Sunday Morning Smoothies
We make smoothies most Sunday mornings. They are really simple and delicious.
One or two bananas
A few handfuls of berries
A pint of milk
Three or four table spoons of plain yoghurt
Put everything in into the blender jug and blitz for 30 seconds. Pour into cups and enjoy.
Rebecca (reception) says: “They’re really, really delicious!”
Mum says: “You can try out lots of different fruits in a smoothie. These are a good way of using up any fruit that is left at the bottom of the fruit bowel because it is all just blended up.
“You can freeze banana chunks and other fruits until you need them. Or you can buy frozen fruit, which is sometimes cheaper, and blend it from frozen for an ice-cold smoothie.”
