​Welcome from the Headteacher


​William Davis is very much a school for its community and of its community. Situated in the heart of vibrant Shoreditch, we are inclusive and diverse; a place where all are welcomed and valued and differences are celebrated for the richness they bring to us all.

We believe that there is ‘greatness in our smallness’. As a small school we refer to ourselves as the ‘William Davis family.’ Every child is known, cared about and supported to be the best they can be. We are forward-thinking and aspirational for our pupils; whilst maintaining a caring, family centred culture.

​Our school values of Quality, Integrity and Collaboration underpin all we do and we teach an ambitious knowledge-rich curriculum alongside a commitment to developing children’s skills in building positive relationships and understanding how to lead safe and healthy lives.

Our pupils make us proud; they are friendly, determined and respectful. Our academic outcomes are excellent - our pupils consistently perform above national averages by the time they leave us in Year 6.

As headteacher, I am supported by a team whose dedication, energy and talent are inspiring. Together, we aim to provide an education and environment which supports and enriches the lives of all our pupils.
