This week in Year 5, we finished reading an abridged version of ‘A Midsummer Night's Dream’ by William Shakespeare. We discussed how the play brings together two worlds: the human world and the fantasy world of the woods. We thought about the themes of ‘love, mischief, magic and humour. We created freeze-frames to show these themes in different scenes from the text. Can you guess which theme matches which photo? |
