We carried out a carousel of exciting activities on our trip.. We learnt about debris clean up in Space, met an Author, did a nature trail and learnt all about recycling effectively! This week in Year 5, we finished reading an abridged version of ‘A Midsummer Night's Dream’ by William Shakespeare. We discussed how the play brings together two worlds: the human world and the fantasy world of the woods. We thought about the themes of ‘love, mischief, magic and humour. We created freeze-frames to show these themes in different scenes from the text. Can you guess which theme matches which photo? |
