As part of their DT unit Food and Nutrition, Macintosh class have been learning about healthy eating habits and have been exploring fresh and processed foods. The children made Jam Jar Salads and baked Tortilla quiches.
This term, in DT Year 2 have been learning about Mechanisms. They designed and constructed their own vehicles using a box as a chassis, axles and wheels.
Macintosh Class visited the TH Local History Library and Archives to learn more about the history of their local area. The children took part in a workshop exploring ragged schools during the Victorian times.
We enjoyed a visit from Santa, took part in a Nativity play and celebrated together with lots of smiles and fun to end the term!
