Our Autumn Hunt

Today, Acorn Class went on an exciting autumn hunt at Haggerston Park. As we walked to the park, we looked for signs of autumn and talked about the changes we could see around us.

At the park, we found lots of conkers, sycamore seeds and colourful leaves. We talked about which animals might collect conkers and what they might do with them. We also spotted squirrels searching for places to hide their food.

The children enjoyed remembering all the autumn learning we have explored in class and showed great curiosity as they investigated nature.

To finish our fantastic trip, we enjoyed some fun at the play park!
