Exploring and Celebrating Nature

What are our favourite things about nature?

We went on a nature hunt around our playground to see what beautiful treasures we could find. We carefully looked around us and collected natural objects such as leaves, flowers, petals, twigs and small stones.

We talked about the different colours, shapes, textures and patterns we could see in nature and shared our favourite discoveries with our friends.

We then used our natural treasures to create our own nature suncatchers. We carefully placed our treasures onto the sticky surface, creating beautiful patterns and designs.

We experimented with the light, looking at our suncatchers from different angles and noticing how the natural materials looked when the light shone through them.

We discovered that nature is full of beauty, colour and wonderful things to explore!
