​We learnt all their names and about how they inspired her to write her book 'Balancing Bertie'.

We then played a game - how many dogs can you balance? 15 was the most!

Children were given an outline of a dog to colour in and decorated before we created a 'balancing' Bertie collage on the floor. Look how many dogs he can balance on his nose!

The first group used lots of different colours to paint the background and explore colour-mixing whilst the second group had some fun 'splatting' their paint on top!

Well done Nursery - it looks amazing!

Almost finished.... just need to peel off the tape! :)
