Year 2 explored the online coding activity 'J2Turtle' during todays computing session. They found out what a 'sprite' was and had to explore the program to find out what each of the buttons did. They then recorded their findings on their key.
The children ended the session by trying to get their rocket 'sprite' to place flags on the planets in the correct order and then wrote down the coding instructions which allowed them to do so. The children acted and looked very mature whilst using their laptops!
