Art Lesson

Art lessons- we’re working on using scale to draw faces and developing techniques (such as smudging, light and hard pressing and cross-hatching) to add shadow and depth to our pictures of fruit and people. We’re trying to produce a ‘surreal’ portrait in the style of the iconic Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo.

This all fits in with our writing and reading where we are learning about the Amazon Rainforest and imagining what it would be like to be lost there!
