William Davis Nursery Admissions Procedure
Parents need to apply directly to the school for a nursery place. Paper application forms are available from school office.
Tower Hamlets introduced a centralised admission process for Nursery in September 2014. Criteria and arrangements are the same as for Reception applications.
Parents have to apply using a common application form by January and will be notified of the outcome of their application in May. Parents will also be notified whether the place offered is a full-time or part-time place.
See Tower Hamlets Nursery school admissions website for more information on the application process and full and part-time places. If places are available your child will be offered a place for the September after their third birthday.

Nursery: Settling In
The school has a procedure for settling the children which can take up to 2 weeks depending on the children’s needs. A parent/adult carer must be available to be in school while their child is settling.
We would hope that all children are fully toilet trained when they start school (unless there is a specific medical condition).

Children who are on roll at the school will automatically be sent a Common Application Form (CAF) by Pupil Services. This must be completed and returned to pupil services. If your child’s details are not on the school roll, it is your responsibility to contact pupil services to obtain a Common Application Form.
Places for Reception are allocated based on the following criteria:
